Homestay message
We have hosted over 140 homestay students in the last 23 years from age 12 to 40 and staying 2 days up to 15 months.
We love sharing our different cultures and have made many lasting friendships.
There are 3 of us in our family. I work with special needs students, Jud works for security part time, and our daughter who is 17, is in Grade 11 at High School.
We love camping when its warm enough, we all perform in the Nutcracker ballet and our daughter loves Japanese anime. We do NOT eat meat but do love fish and seafood. This has never really been a problem for our homestay guests. We do not allow any smoking in or outside our home due to allergies.
We have a room available from June 05, 2010 to July 04, 2010, and from August 20, 2010 onward. Our fee is negotiable without meals, or for shorter stays, or to fit your budget, within reason.
We live 20 minutes from downtown and 30 minutes from the MRU and U of C by public transportation.
